My thanks to members for signing up to help in the library this year. It’s not too late to offer your help for 1 monthly meeting or several months. See Maria during library hours.

When we meet in person, the Guild Library is open at 6 – 7 pm and during the break.  We are asking for 3 volunteers a month to help with the signing out of books.  Volunteers will help open the library and work until 7 pm when the meeting starts.  Then help during the break for members to sign out books.  A Volunteer sign-up sheet will be in the Library.  Please sign up.  Each month the Library will have a theme and books will be displayed accordingly.

Members are allowed to take out 3 books a month. The Library will continue to sell off the deleted library books, donated books and magazines at the FOR SALE TABLE.

Book Sale

The book sale us such a huge success it will now be a regular feature. Many books that have been taking up space in our library and donations will be available – monies collected will used to purchase newer quilting resources. Remember to bring your loonie and toonies to the next meeting and find a treasure that needs a new home.

Membership has its advantages

One of the advantages to being a Guild member is access to our incredible library.  Here are just a few of our new books:

Sew Flower Quilts & Gifts by Atsuko Matsuyama. 30 patchwork, quilting and applique? projects using fabric scraps.

Machine Quilting with Style from Walking-Foot Wonders to Free-Motion Favourites author Christa Watson (12 projects from start to finish).

Cuddle Me Quick by Christine Porter & Darra Williamson – 11 baby quilt designs
