The Thunder Bay Quilt Guild is excited to present Dandelion Clock – a virtual class with Jo Avery, on Saturday, October 30, 2021.
- Dandelion Clock – Saturday, October 30 – 9 am to 2:00 pm
Explore Jo’s Freehand Foundation Piecing technique in this skills-based workshop. We will be drawing up our own Dandelion Clock on a foundation fabric before foundation piecing and then tackling wonky improv curves.
$60 per participant for TBQG member
The registration process will open on Tuesday, May 18. There are a limited number of spaces for the workshop.
Note: As we are not able to conduct in-person registration at a meeting (as was done before), registration will be handled by email or a phone call. If we receive more registrations for the workshop than spaces, all names will be placed in a lottery*. The lottery draw will be held at 9 am on Tuesday, June 1. A confirming email will be sent to all those who have registered for the workshop by the end of day Tuesday, June 1. The email will give instructions about submitting your payment. Your payment must be received within one week to secure your registration.
* If you are not chosen in the lottery your name will automatically be placed on a waiting list. You will be informed of this via email by June 1.
To register for this workshop please send an email to email@example.com with the following information:
- Email address
- How you will be paying for the workshop (e-transfer or cheque)
There will be more information provided at the May 17 TBQG meeting.
We make a commitment to you by offering our workshops and you make a commitment to us when you register for one. If you must cancel your registration, please let us know immediately so that we can attempt to fill your spot. Registration fees are not refundable unless the Guild is able to find someone from the waitlist who can take the spot. If there is no waitlist, registrants are encouraged to find a replacement for their spot.
No Shows are not entitled to a refund.
Very rarely, the workshop will need to be cancelled by the teacher or the Guild. In such cases, all registrants will receive a full refund of fees paid.
Take care everyone,
Adrienne, Cathy, Laura, Mary Catharine
Traditional and Curvy – thanks for the great workshops Daisy!
It was great to have Libs Elliot as our guest quilter in January 2021 for two workshops and a Lecture “Quilting by Code”.
Many thanks to Andrea Tsang Jackson of 3rd Story Workshop who led us through two two fantastic workshops and presented a trunk show to all of our members in October 2020.
